When will my item be shipped & delivered?

It usually takes 1-2 business days to process and ship out your order. Once your order has been processed, most orders will be delivered within 1-2 weeks. Please contact me with any questions concerning your order! If you need an item by a certain date, contact us via email thegenuinehomellc@gmail.com for rush shipping rates! We cannot guarantee delivery dates, but we are more than happy to work with you! Additional charges may apply. At this time, we only ship within the United States, but we are hoping to expand our shipping area in the future and will be sure to keep you updated!!

I purchased a digital download. Can I return or exchange it

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for: Custom or personalized orders Digital downloads Items on sale

What if I need to exchange or return my item?

We hope you love your new item(s) as much as we do, but if you aren’t completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return your purchase for store credit or exchange the item(s) within 14 DAYS of receiving. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs on returns and exchanges. Please email us at thegenuinehomellc@gmail.com BEFORE shipping your item(s). We cannot accept any packages sent without prior contact. Once the item(s) is/are received, your store credit will be processed within 2-3 business days and sent via email. All returned items must meet the requirements below to receive store credit: Items must be free of marks, damage, cigarette smoke, and animal hair. All original tags must be attached. Any items marked “Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged. This does not include the items on sale for promotional events.

Can I use promo codes with the purchase of already discounted items or sale items?

Promo codes and offers cannot be combined with already discounted items or sale items.

How can I make a change to my order?

Sometimes something happens and you need to change or cancel your order, we totally understand and are here to help, but you must contact us immediately. Once we initially process your order (usually within 1-2 days), we will be unable to change or cancel your order.

What if my item is damaged?

In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged or defective item, please send us an email at thegenuinehomellc@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the item for a refund or exchange. Please put “DAMAGED Order #____” as the subject line, include a couple of pictures and a description that clearly show the damage.

Where is my order confirmation?

Yay!! You placed an order! As soon as your order is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. If you didn’t get an email, please check your spam folder and add thegenuinehomellc@gmail.com to your safe sender list.

Why is another interior designer charging less for their services?

Whilst being a newer Interior Designer, I am building the experience and education to help you avoid expensive mistakes and oversights during your design project. I have an accredited degree in Interior Design and possess the ability to utilize SketchUp to give my clients all the tools they need to visualize their space before it is built. Though it may take more time, I feel projects are most successful when the client is involved in the collaboration from the start so that the end result is something you are truly thrilled with. I avoid all kinds of shady business practices that some interior designers have traditionally utilized: hidden product mark-ups, contractor and vendor referral kick-backs, low time investment on your project, unexpected additional extra fees and costs. I value transparency and hope that you will see it in my design process, my pricing, and our daily interactions.

Where are you located and what are your business hours?

That’s the best part! I offer both in-person & virtual design services. I am located near the Cincinnati, Ohio area but I can also serve the online community. I’m happy to help however I can! My call hours are from 5:00pm-10:00pm for calls but are available via e-mail.

What should I bring to the Design Discovery Call?

Reviewing any inspiration images that you have collected, such as from magazines or Pinterest, will help me further uncover your style and direction. It might also be a good idea to have some pictures of styles you do not like, so I know what to stay away from during your project.

The short answer is as soon as possible! Many clients don’t realize that they should hire an interior designer from the very start. From the time you even begin to dream about your new home or renovation to your existing home, the help and guidance of an interior designer will be the best investment you will ever make. In hiring me, the ideal situation is to work alongside your team – architect, builder, contractor, as a team with a common goal of making your house a home for you. My goal is to assist you in bringing your vision of your genuine home to fruition – that will not just be beautiful, but will function for your needs and be refined, inviting, and modern. So, the short answer is, hire a designer right away! I hope that I am the Interior Designer you will entrust with the design of your home.
