I get it. And this one is a little heavy but I hope to make it appear lighter for you. As soon as you read the title of this post, you may have wondered to yourself, “I don’t even know what that means.” And that is okay! Because you create the definition for yourself by creating dreams and taking aligned actions to manifest those dreams. Let me explain in 3 simple ways on how to master the art of intention.
What is An Intention?
Intention is the creative power by which your dreams manifest from thought to existence. I wrote a great blog post about intentional living and intention-setting. These are great posts to take a look at as you are starting to master the art of intention.
But In embracing your role as the creator of your own reality, you open to a field of all possibilities, infinite positive energy, and wisdom that flows from awareness.
Your life and home is a story that you tell, but currently, it may be like a broken record player playing the same old story over and over. Until we take the needle off with intention, we can’t change direction and tell a new story.
Thank heaven we have the power of intention-setting to re-write a more meaningful one.
Do A Monthly Intention-Setting Session to Master The Art Of Intention
The first way is by doing a monthly intention-setting session. I’ve created a free “Monthly Intention-Setting” Guide that has multiple categories with prompts to set intentions for the upcoming month. This helps you create the path toward your dreams!
The monthly intention-setting session would be great to do along with some self-care to put yourself in a high-vibe state to start your month off right!
Do An Hourly Check-In
The second way to start to master the art of intention is to check in with yourself hourly by asking yourself these 4 Powerful Questions:
- How am I feeling right now?
- What do I need in this moment?
- What would you like to create in my near future for the highest good of all?
- Is there anything I’d like to let go of right now that will not serve me now or in my future?
Practice Meditation To Master The Art Of Intention
I personally love meditation. It is my favorite way to be still and observe my thoughts and develop a conscious presence of the world around me. When you’re still and allow your desires to rise from the silence of the gap between thoughts, the answers that are revealed to you are for the highest purpose of your being.
When you direct your awareness toward soul-affirming desires that fill you up, ignite your passion, and connect you with your purpose, a sense of joy and harmony abides in everything you do. Doors will open as you advance toward them. That is how powerful a being you are!
In silent awareness, you can witness without judgment and rest in the stillness as the silent watcher of your thoughts. Each pause you take allows you to step back from emotion, assess what’s going on within you, and gently reframe and shift your thoughts to choose love.
Though most often we set intentions to manifest for the future, our attention must remain thoroughly in the now. The present moment is where we can appreciate the true power of intention and the only place where we can wield the magic wand to make our dreams a reality.
In conclusion,
In mastering the art of intention, you open and allow the infinite possibilities to flow to and through you. While intentions set the direction for your thoughts, it is taking aligned actions that guide you toward their fulfillment. Before you know it, you have crossed the chasm and moved from intention to fulfillment. Deep within your soul, you know that the Universe is always there, always guiding and supporting you. Remember, all your hopes and dreams already exist and are just waiting for you to wield your magic wand and create them into your reality. If you are ready to start setting great intentions and master the art of your own holistic home, I’ve opened enrollment to my new course, “The Art Of The Holistic Home” and I’d love to welcome you inside!
