We are officially jumping into Christmas decorating here this week, and even though the house is currently covered in boxes everywhere you look. But the magic and coziness of the season are already starting to filter all throughout our little rambler! The sun was shining but it gets dark here around 5:30 pm EST. It’s crazy but we have classic holiday music playing, and I get to spend the entire week fluffing our Christmas tree and hanging stockings, and selecting which ornaments to use!
I found myself looking back at some of my Christmas photos and of course, with the help of Pinterest, to help get me inspired! I may be a little behind this year when it comes to holiday decorating but I wanted to make this holiday season meaningful and intentional. Because I think it’s about the sound of a crackling fire. It is the scent of hot chocolate and cypress in the air. It is stockings hung by the chimney, feels like a knitted throw and the warmth of company – not wishing away a single second, but savoring every moment. I know none of us have the time to sort through all of the internet to find decorating inspiration. I have pulled together some of my personal favorites that have inspired my holiday decor all in one spot to help spark your creativity this year!
